Healing properties

  • Benefits the lungs

  • Eliminates putrefactive bacteria in the intestines that cause poor assimilation: used for diarrhea and chronic dysentery: contains an essential oil that destroys pinworms and roundworms

  • Dissolves accumulations such as stones and tumors
  • Useful for skin lesions
  • Useful for urinary tract infections

Conditions: carrots are alkaline-forming and clear acidic blood conditions including acne, tonsillitis, and rheumatism: they are also one of the richest sources of the anti-oxidant beta-carotene (provitamin A).

Beta-carotene

  • Protects against cancer (carrots are at traditional Western folk remedy for cancer)
  • Treats night blindness
  • Treats ear infections, earache and deafness

Carrots also contain large amounts of silicon and thereby strengthen the connective tissues and aid calcium metabolism. Their silicaceous fiber and ability to liquefy the bile make them useful in treating constipation.

For the above conditions, cat at least 6 ounces of carrots a day ordrink a cup or two of the juice.
The juice heals bums when applied directly.

Eating carrot sticks daily helps

Grated carrots
  • Best for parasites and dysentery
  • Have been used as a poultice over cancerous growths to reduce inflammation and odor.
Cooked Carrots
  • In cases of diarrhea;
  • Cooked and pureed or as a soup, they benefit infants with weak digestion.

Note: For it concentration of vitamin and other nutrients, is ideal–it should be taken only on an empty stomach and should he diluted with water for infants. Carrots make a good foundation juice for adding other juices.
